Overview
We visited the Aït Benhaddou Unesco site located at the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. Then we continue to Ouarzazate, known as a gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Tour Itinerary:
DAY 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH–OUARZAZATE
The two-day tour with Your Morocco Holidays starting with departure will be at Marrakech Riad/ hotel. We drive through the magical Atlas Mountains and famous Berber villages and we cross the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass. We visit the beautiful Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here many famous movies were shot: Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and others. Following lunch, we continued to Ouarzazate to enjoy a city tour. Overnight in a local hotel with dinner.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH
On day two, we will visit the Cinema Museum in Ouarzazate and the Taourirt Kasbah. After the free program, we returned to Marrakech via Atlas mountains.
